Inspire training offers CPD -accredited Moving and Handling Objects and People courses for the health and social care sector, this course is suitable for both new and experienced staff across hospitals, care homes, and domiciliary settings. This course is also suitable for those who provide care within their own family home.

Training in moving and handling is crucial to ensure that individuals know how to safely lift, carry, and move objects or people while minimizing the risk of injury.

Inspire Training offers a one-day course which incorporates theory and practical elements.

Inspire Training has a room that provides a realistic environment with fully functioning equipment, which we call our simulation suite. Delegates can have a real life experience of using hoists and slings with each other whilst being guided by the trainer. We believe this is intergral to learning and aids in our goal of combining dignity and respect with manual handling safely.

We cover dynamic risk assessments in emergency situations and what to do if assessments become outdated or incorrect.

The delegates will be taught the law and legislation, which is kept up to date by our trainer’s membership of the National Back exchange and working in partnership with other professionals.

This course also covers the importance of pressure area care and postural management, a crucial element of providing safe and effective care to individuals.

All of our equipment is inspected regularly and can be used for practical demonstration. Delegates will also learn about the equipment and how to inspect, ensuring it is safe for use.
